Trump’s lawyer brought a gaming laptop to court, and everyone on Bluesky made the same joke

We created a new Ace Attorney feed on Bluesky on Monday night (2nd October), and we were just in time to catch the birth of one of those weird, semi-memetic internet jokes.

See, Monday was the opening day of embattled former president Donald Trump’s fraud trial in Manhattan. And people couldn’t help noticing Trump’s lawyer, Alina Habba, turned up in court with an Asus ROG gaming laptop — its distracting, pulsing RGB logo on full display.

Eagle-eyed Bluesky poster Kana skeeted a picture of Ms Habba’s unusual choice, saying:
