How to get tickets for the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience at London’s ExCeL Centre (and elsewhere)
As well as announcing its next-generation Switch 2 console today, Nintendo also revealed a worldwide “Nintendo Switch 2 Experience” tour — and it’s coming to London on 11th–13th April this year. Registration for London tickets opens on the Nintendo UK website at 2:00pm UK time tomorrow, Friday, 17th January, and closes on Sunday, 26th January at 11:59pm.
Details on what to expect from the Experience are… well, there aren’t any, really. But here’s what we do know:
Tickets will be made available through a random draw.
You can register as an individual, or as a group of up to six people.
Any other adults you’re registering for will need to be in your Nintendo Account Family Group. They’ll receive a confirmation email containing terms and conditions they’ll need to accept before your group registration is complete.
You’ll receive an email telling you whether you’ve been successful or not, after the random draw is complete.
There won’t be any tickets available “at the gate”, so Nintendo is warning people not to turn up if they haven’t successfully registered.
If you’re not in the UK, there’s a decently long list of tour dates available. I’ve linked to the local Switch 2 Experience pages for each event — so please follow the links to get ticketing information for your chosen city.
